Khan Academy: Khan Academy is an amazing website that we use in the classroom frequently. Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Read, Read, Read: Early exposure to language is the greatest factor in language development and learning to read. By reading together every day, you stimulate and strengthen your child’s language and literacy skills. It is that simple. By reading and talking with your child each day, you bond with them and model the love of reading, which will benefit them in school and throughout life.
ST Math: This is a computer based math program that we use in class. Students are expected to do at least 90 minutes and get 60 puzzles a week. They can use this program at home as well. It covers the standards that we are working on in class. Students should do this independently.
Lexia: Lexia is a computer based reading program that we use in class. Students can work on this independently at home as well to strengthen their reading and phonics skills.
